We’re talking CycleBar again today because every time I mention them on my socials you girls get so excited and always have so many questions. I hope this review post helps answer all of them 🙂
Here’s CycleBar’s exact address – 209 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33609.
Always plenty of spots
Tons of options – AM and PM, weekdays and weekends. They’re open 7 days a week.
So fresh and so clean – always.
Could I figure out where the lockers were to put all of the stuff that I didn’t need that I should’ve just left in my car?
Yes – you’ll also find apples, hair ties, and all the goods over by the lockers. Sometimes they even have bananas! They really know the way to my heart haha
What did I even need?
Your body, some socks and water bottle. They give you the rest.
As soon as you walk in they help you get checked in and ask you your shoe size. The shoes that they have are special shoes that clip onto your bike pedals. They’re included in the cost of the ride – thank God because it’s so annoying to have to pay extra for them at other studios.
If you forget your socks they have a little shop where you can buy some. They also sell super cute gear.
If you are a first timer and forgot your water bottle – ask at the counter if they have any extras. They might just hook you up with one 🙂
Getting set up
Easy easy. They have a towel and a bar ready for you on your bike. The bar is for the arm workout that you do during 1 song towards the end of your ride.
If you have trouble clipping your shoes onto your pedals or don’t know how high/low you want your seat – grab the instructor before class. They are more than happy to help you.
Percent of time I knew what was going on as a first timer
100% – on my very first ride I honestly didn’t feel lost at all. The instructions were so clear.
Was it difficult?
Difficult? No. Challenging? Yes! Those instructors know how to PUSH you.
Did I sweat?
Could I have worked out harder?
You can always go harder – am I right?
Will I be sore later?
Length of class
This is where I discover my new fav jams. Seriously. The instructors come up with these playlists that I go crazy over! The way they coordinate the music with the moves – perfection.
Was it intimidating?
No – it’s more fun than intimidating!
Were there guys in the class too?
Were the instructors experienced?
Do they offer bundles? What’s the best deal/package?
They do! Find more info here – https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/ASP/main_shop.asp
In my opinion – if you’re going to go often the unlimited pass is the best deal. If you want to start out small – try Groupon. Here’s a link to an awesome deal – https://www.groupon.com/deals/cycle-bar-south-tampa.
I want more info – where can I find them?
Here’s their site – https://barmethod.com/locations/tampa-westshore/
I dig it – obviously 😉 These chics (& guys) are cool and I feel like I get a good workout every time. I will be back for more!
If you check them out let me know what you think!
Are there other places in town that I should check out next?
Here are the links to my other Cyclebar posts by the way if you want to check those out later.
As always – if you still have questions leave them down below. I am more than happy to answer!
